Here it is: the long weekend begins. Hoping for some sun at least half of the time.
Clients tell me that all the choices will be high kcal this weekend. If they are already reducing weight, a three day weekend is more than a cheat day and likely to cause a return to weight accumulation again.
Best ways to help:
1. Take less alcohol and more water than other long weekends
2. Exercise at least 2 hours a day on the weekend
3. Recruit others to be active with you eg group adventure walk or canoe/kayak
4. Rent, buy or borrow a new sport item/toy for the weekend eg. beach volley ball, Standup Paddle Board etc.
Eat less than you did the previous long weekend.
