Federal Government Employees now have insurance for Dietitian Services
Find a dietitian through dietitians.ca across Canada Increased Dietitian Coverage on Federal Employee Benefits Plans A recent announcement from the Government of Canada detailed upcoming changes in Public Service Health Care employee benefit plans, including coverage to see a dietitian. These improvements and changes to the Public Service Health Care Plan were the result of recognizing “the needs of a diverse Canadian public sector workforce, its retirees and dependants.” This will result in 300,000 more people having access to dietitian services. Dietitian coverage for employee benefits plans is a priority of Dietitians of Canada. Thank you to all the volunteers and staff whose excellent work has elevated the need for increased dietitian coverage. This is an important milestone for dietitian coverage.
